As a registered dietitian and certified lifestyle medicine professional, our founder is dedicated to promoting healthy eating. However, finding great tasting, well-balanced meals was challenging, with most options being either unappealing or falling short one way or another. Collaborating with chefs, we aim to create delicious, healthy, and sustainable food, supporting both human and planetary health. This led to the creation of the Culinary Health Alliance.
The CHA invests in the future by training chefs of the future in culinary nutrition principles. A pay it forward model of culinary arts students, chef instructors, and registered dietitians supporting some of the industry's best chefs to create something to feel good about (literally). Because healthy eating can be confusing, we decided to create a team of nutrition and culinary experts to design guidelines based on evidenced-based nutrition principles. These guidelines will serve as certification so diners can be assured every CHA certified dish is a win-win!
